How to Apply for a Marriage License
- Applications are provided by the marriage license agent or may be downloaded here.
- The prospective bride and groom must appear in person before a marriage license agent.
- You do need to contact an agent and pre arrange your appointment.
- Bride and groom should be prepared to provide identification and proof of age.
- The marriage license costs $65.00; payable in cash at the time the application is made..
- The marriage license expires 30 days from and including the date of issuance.
- Bring passports to the appointment if you are from outside the U.S.
- Blood tests are not required.
- The license is filed by your Minister with the Department of Health.
- All of the officiants used by Kuhina are licensed by the State of Hawaii as required.
